A Community of Faith and Love
Worship
We worship in community three times weekly; Sunday Mornings, Sunday Evenings and Wednesday Evenings. Each worship gathering is unique in nature and approach.
Sunday mornings are a more traditional worship experience with hymns, praise music, reading of scripture and the preaching of God's Word, the Bible. During worship younger children are gathered for children's church to worship and learn on their level.
Sunday evenings are more personal and interactive. We dig deeper into God's word and seek answers to some of life's greatest challenges. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your questions.
Wednesday evening is an intimate time of prayer and devotion. It is a time when we share life's victories and burdens.
Teach
Sunday mornings we have an all-ages study of God's Word, the Bible. Classes gather by age and the material is
geared for each specific age-group.
On Friday evenings kids pre-K through grade 6 gather for AWANA. AWANA is a dynamic time of song, teaching, playing and growing together.
Outreach
Our desire is to honor Jesus' teaching to "feed the hungry and visit the sick." To that end we provide caring visitation for those who are shut-in, ill, or hospitalized.
We also offer trained, biblical counsel for all who seek. Topics of counsel might include marriage and family therapy, overcoming addiction, money management, coping with stress, etc.
We work cooperatively with area food pantries and charitable ministries. For those in need of material assistance referral is made to local Christian helping ministries.
Spread the Word
The greatest news mankind has ever received is the love of God in the person of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to spread the good news through personal evangelism and cooperation with local, national and international ministries. Some of these ministries include the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association, the Baptist Convention of New York, the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Share
We believe church is not a building or a service that you attend, rather it is a group of friends who spend time together and care for one another. Some friendships are natural and easily made, others grow over time, but all are worth it.
Come! Let's grow together.
