What is AWANA?

Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) states, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

AWANA allows us to partner with parents to raise children with an understanding of the deepest, most important truths; truth about themselves, their Creator, and their role in the world at large. AWANA has been described as "fun church" by one of our kids, and Friday evenings are always full of songs and games. Beyond that, however, children are challenged to grow in their understanding of God through Bible drills, Scripture memory, and by discovering their special place in Christ's kingdom.

Between club meetings, families are encouraged to learn/recite Bible verses, apply them to daily life, and grow in faith and love.

Our AWANA program is open to all members of the community. Regardless of where you live or worship, we would like the opportunity to partner together with you in raising healthy, wise, and courageous children who are able to share the love of Christ and demonstrate His teachings in daily life.
